Ok, I am putting it up for a vote: Erik and I have been discussing the spelling of Zachary's shortened name. I told him that it would be weird to spell it Zack because Zachary is with a ch not a ck. Stupid Me! My oldest son Nicholas, is called Nick everyday! I have been spelling it Zach since he was born, but Erik likes Zack better and I might also. Although can you change your child's name at 6 months old? Anyway, what do you think?

I also think it should be Zac. And, I think your last name should be spelled Burgh.
I will try to give you a good answer since the two before weren't that helpful (j/k). At first I thought I liked Zach, but after you mentioned Nick and I leaning more toward that spelling.

Well now that is a tricky one. You both have very valid points. I don't like either and think that you should call him Charlie. He definitely makes a better Charlie than Zachary, Zac, Zack or Zach. Solves a lot of problems right? Oh wait...then you will shorten it to Charles or Chuck?
HEHE! J/K! I like both really but would lean a little more towards Zach. I would spell it that way from a teacher stand point.
I happened upon your blog through a google search I was doing and just wanted to say that I have a Benjamin too and that you have some beautiful boys!
I would probably spell it Zach, just because that is what I am more used to seeing and think that someday teachers probably would too.

Our son Zachary has his name shortened to Zack. I think it should read the way it sounds. Just thought I would way in on an issue I already had with my kiddo.
I vote for ZACK. If Nick has a ck, Zack should get a ck too! Either way he's a cute kid!

Zack - nice because it goes with brother Nick.
Zach - nice because I think it looks cool.
Zak - the way my nephew spells his.
Zac - My favorite.

It's not too late to change the spelling. I know a lot of people that have actually changed the NAME, after 6 months to a year!
BTW - I love the name Zachary.
If we have a boy we are naming him Zackary. I like Zack so much better and so we will just name him Zackary. I have done a lot of research on this name and have found some guys complain about Zach. They say people pronounce it with the CH sound and not the K sound. Just thought I would throw that in there. Sorry this is sooo late! :)
