I have been hearing about produce co-op's for about a month now and I finally decide to see what all the fuss is about.

I first ordered from Green Bee Co-op

and the next week I ordered from Bountiful Baskets.

They were both great. You pay about $15 in my case I order on Monday and pick it up on Saturday. I definitely felt like I got much more than I would have for the same amount of money in the grocery store. Green Bee was a little more expensive and I feel like I got a bit more produce from Bountiful Baskets. Both were great quality and I don't have a single compliant so far. (Ok, I guess I do have one. Bountiful Baskets is so popular that you have to order it right when it is available to have any chance at getting a basket.) I also like that Bountiful Baskets has you take your own container to haul your booty home in, instead of using so many boxes. I feel like I save tons of money and then I don't have to plan what we are eating for the week, it has already been decided for me! (At least, the fruits and vegetables anyway) My kids are also learning to eat better!

Bloom Where you are planted

Thought I would let everyone know what I have been doing lately. I will just let the pictures speak for themselves. Just multiply this all by about 20.

Not enough time on my hands

Erik said that I need to start posting more often, now that I have my camera back I probably will. This is what we have been up to lately: our van died, we spent upwards of $800 on fixing it and it died again on the way home from the shop, two days later our car got hit, luckily it is now fixed and running again, and Erik broke two ribs last week (It is a good thing it only comes in Three, I guess we are finished). Amy and Laurie are trying to talk me into doing a mini-triathalon, need I say more. On a more postive note: Zach has turned two and he makes me laugh everyday. I love to watch him run around the house. Ben is obsessed with his new hamster (just a toy) and I have twice thought it was a mouse. Nick and I are enjoying figuring this scout thing out together. I will post some christmas pics soon.

LAVA

I must be getting lazy, I am still just playing catch up. Should call this... my life in pictures. We recently went to Lava Hot Springs with my sisters and their families. Here are a few photos. I should post one my sister took of me jumping off the highest platform, but I do not post pictures of myself in a swimming suit. Glad she got a picture, because it won't be happening again.

MS Bike Ride

Erik recently rode in a 40 mile bike ride to benefit Multiple Sclerosis. The boys and I had fun watching him cross the finish line. We are really proud of him. He did great, especially considering that he had no time to train for it. Next year he may be doing 100 miles.

This is Grady, the son of our friends Gus and Chalyce.
