I cannot wait until it actually feels like spring, but I do love Utah's mountains when they look like this:

We Love TEMPLES and Cabela's!

This is a bit late, but I finally uploaded all my pictures.   We were able to go to the Draper Temple Openhouse on March 5.   It was a great experience.   I am so glad the kids were able to go into the temple and experience a small portion of what is inside.   Ben loved the font and the oxdes.   Nick could not stop looking at the chandeliers.

And then of course we were only 5 minutes from Cabela's.   Which my kids speak of with reverence.   Hardly daring to ask if we were actually going to go inside.    Who needs Disneyland when you have Cabela's.  (at least that is what we tell them... doesn't work)

It was a great family day for us!

Soccer Again!

Soccer has begun again.   We sat there freezing last night watching Ben's game (minus Erik).   I didn't take pictures, but I just wanted to document Ben's first GOAL.   Of course, I missed it because Zach hates watching soccer games in the the freezing cold "spring."   But apparently it was pretty impressive, especially since last fall he was trying to find babies to talk to (and their mom's) or trying to perfect his sommersault.   All of the parents said how impressed they were and that he must have practiced a lot.   I didn't tell them that he hasn't seen a soccer ball since the last game.   Nick starts tomorrow.   Erik unfortunately probably won't make it to the games because of work, anyone want to come with me???

A whole month late...

It is way past Valentines Day, but I just wanted to say thanks again to my four favorite Valentines!   Lucky ME.

At least the kids still want the snow...

I am TIRED of the snow, but the boys are thrilled.   We have had a record number of snowmen in our yard this year.   Here is the latest.

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

Just a quick post for Nicholas.   Monday was Theodore Seuss Geisel's birthday and also crazy sock day at Nick's school.   I actually forgot until the morning off and Nick really does not have ANY crazy socks.   His craziest sock is white with a small green stripe across the top of the toe.    So we dug through my sock drawer and came up with these.

He came home pretty excited and said that he definitely had the craziest socks!  I need to take a lesson from him to get this excited about the little things in my life.
