Zach's Tag Fettish

Those of you who know about Zachary's obsession with clothing tags need no explanation, but for the rest of you:  I was so sick of trying to find a tag for him to hold while driving, or waking up during the night or even just to calm him down, so I made this:

Weird, kind-of cute, kind-of ugly.   But it has made both of our lives easier.

What a smarty pants you are. I'm sure you aren't the only mom dealing with that issue. I wonder if you could market that and cash in on your great idea!

Now we just need to teach him to stop throwing everything he gets his hands on. You did a good job.

Reminds me of a few blankets from the past... Eric's knotted Mess "Ball" Blanket and my Silky edge with all the middle missing. I am afraid Zach is a Weeks after all!

That sounded rude... Your blanket looks very nice, and (use YODA Voice) Great solution, Came up with you did! I was referring to the blanket Fettish thing in the previous post!

I didn't take it rudely. It made me laugh. What is with the Yoda voice???

LOL... I typed it weird the first time, it reminded me of Yoda so I went with it. I am in a "Make humor where I can find it" Mood.

I checked this again and for some reason my comment didn't make it on her. I am sure I got distracted with the kids or something and didn't finish it completely or something. Anyway-I love it! I makes me want to sew something silky. Was it hard to sew the satin?

I was surprisingly easy. I didn't have a single problem sewing it, the material went through the machine without a hitch. It was hard to cut straight because it was slick. It would have been nice to have a strip to follow or something. I ended up cutting it a bit big and trimming it after I did the sewing.

What a great idea! My son has a tag issue, but it is just the opposite - he can't stand them and I am always having to cut them off or tuck them in just right. Kids are funny.
