Swimming Lessons

The Boys have been taking swimming lessons and Nick wanted me to post some of these pictures for everyone to see.   Nick loved his class and Ben loved going  to play at the pool.   Ben did pretty good considering the fact that he doesn't really like anyone to touch him:)  There were plenty of moments however that he just told the teachers flat out that he didn't need to do what they were telling him to do.   They would look at me and I just had to laugh because I can't get him to change his mind for anything.  I think that Nick's teacher looks like he should play Edward in the upcoming Twilight movie.

Book of Mormon Hero

The boys had a primary party today.   They dressed as heroes from the Book of Mormon.  Nick is Captain Moroni and Ben is King Benjamin.

X.  X-ray or ultrasound?  Ultrasound.  X-rays, have always involved pain.   Ultrasounds have been happy occasions, although might have to change my mind if the next ultrasound shows some male anatomy.

Y.  Your favorite food?  Coconut Shimp and Italian, I love to eat out at lots of places.

Nick and Ben

Nick and Ben are such fun brothers.   Nick is in kindergarten and loving it.  He loves to play soccer and t-ball, and he is quite good at both of them.  Ben sits in my lap at the games crying "I want to be on the team" and then yelling "Go Transformers!"  Nick just lost both front teeth, but the new teeth had already grown in.   We definitely will be doing the braces thing.   Benjamin gets held down screaming twice a day to brush.  They are both very sweet to their new baby brother.   Ben shows just the right amount of interest in him and he loves to talk to him and tell everyone that it is "his" baby, "not yours."  Zach loves to have Nick sing to him and play with his toys.  Nick loves to play with his guys (Star Wars, army men, knights, pretty much anything that can hold a weapon) and Ben does too.   Ben also loves to play with animals and can name and identify more than I knew existed.  Although don't get him near a living animal or he will be terrified.  He loves more than anything to play with his big brother.   Ben is a very sweet, stubborn kid.   I love it when he says "Mom, I love you" out of the blue and then continues with whatever he is doing.  They are both good little helpers for me and I feel lucky to have them as my children.

My family is full of great photographers (not me).   Laurie took these great pictures of Zachary when he was three weeks old.  I can't believe how fast he has grown.

Zachary Charles Berge

Zachary was born on January 18 and he is already two an a half months old.   He has a great smile and loves to make eye contact with everyone.  Nick and Ben love him, although Ben has been trying to give him to Grandma lately.   He has had his share of colds in his short little life, but he seems quite well now.
